Wood – Habshan Gas Processing Facilities Project

EPCPROMAN is proud to play an active role in the construction of the long-term gas processing facilities at the UAE's Habshan facility by providing EPCPROMAN Enterprise Software Solutions and Technical Operating Manpower for Material and Construction Management. The implementation covers Piping and Structural construction activities, supported by Barcode/RFID-based automation for Piping Spool and Structural Assembly Tracking, with construction progress representation on 3D models using colour-coded status indicators. The project implementation also includes PRODOCS (Electronic Document Management System) for project documentation management.

Wood's Scope

Wood's scope includes substantial upgrades and debottlenecking solutions to the existing Habshan and Habshan 5 gas processing mega-complexes and associated pipelines.

The scope involves brownfield modifications and installation of new facilities. The Rich Gas Development (RGD) project aims to increase operational efficiency and modernise the facilities to support increased gas output associated with ADNOC's upstream expansion.

Habshan is recognised as one of the world's largest gas processing complexes.

The implementation forms part of the EPCM execution scope awarded by ADNOC Gas for the Habshan Debottlenecking scope under the P5 Project.

Requirements

The project required an integrated digital platform to manage extensive Engineering, Material Management, Fabrication, Erection, and Construction activities.

The key requirements included:

Piping Isometric Management and Spooling.

Complete Material Management and Material Control.

Construction Front Analysis and Work-Front Readiness.

Piping Job Card Generation and Material Issuance.

Fabrication and Erection Activity Management.

Pressure Testing and Test Package Management.

Barcode/RFID-based Piping Spool Tracking.

Prefabricated Structural Assembly Receipt, Issuance, and Site Consumption Tracking.

E&I Tagged Items, Bulk Materials, Cable Drum, and Cable Schedule Tracking.

Construction Progress Representation on 3D Models.

Electronic Document Management through PRODOCS.

System Deployment, Data Migration, Integration, Training, Support, and ADNOC Compliance.

Implementation

Solution & Approach

EPCPROMAN Enterprise provides a unified digital platform integrating Engineering, Material Management, and Construction Management for the Habshan Gas Processing Facilities project.

01

EPCPROMAN – Engineering & Piping Spooling Management

EPCPROMAN supports the management of Piping Isometrics and Spooling activities through its AUTOSPOOL module.

The implementation covers:

Piping Isometric Management.

Isometric Spooling Management.

Spool Generation and Identification.

Spooling Progress Monitoring.

Management of 26,000 Isometrics.

Management of 70,000 Pipe Spools.

02

EPCPROMAN – Material Management & Control

EPCPROMAN provides integrated Material Management capabilities through WHAM and MATCONTRK.

The implementation covers complete material management, including:

Material Identification and Tracking.

Material Availability and Front Analysis.
